Various aspects of Painting and Drawing will be covered. Beginners are welcome with every student receiving personal guidance at an appropriate level.

The aim of the course is to inspire students to learn the basic observation techniques and methods of drawing (linear drawing, perspective, anatomy, light, shade and colour) and also to learn and experiment with different mediums of drawing.

Every session starts with an introduction, explanation and a demonstration by the tutor. Students will be able to practice sketching short poses and make longer studies with the Life Drawing element with the model.

A relaxed atmosphere is provided by the tutor and a professional model. Prospective students should be reassured that they are entering an environment where they can relax, concentrate, and most of all, learn the skills of drawing.
