Course programme

The WHO and WPCA’s Global Atlas of Palliative Care at the End of Life estimates that 20 million patients will need palliative care at the end of their lives - a figure that doubles if people needing care before death are also included. However just 3 million of those patients will receive such care and the majority of those will only receive it at the end of their lives.

This free online course is for staff working in palliative care whether as part of their general role in hospices, hospital teams, care homes, community teams, third party organisations as well as those with an interest in palliative care such as patients and family caregivers.
