The Paraffin Wax course will teach you how to complete a range of paraffin wax treatments including face and full body treatments. Paraffin wax treatments have grown in popularity over the recent years. Initially they were used as a luxury addition to manicures and pedicures, but as the benefits of the treatment have become understood, this treatment is now more widely used both as complementary and stand alone treatments.

Paraffin wax has been used for health and beauty treatments for many years due to it being an effective medium for deep heat transfer to the skin and joints, thereby relieving pain and stiffness. Arthritic sufferers benefit greatly from this treatment.

Warm paraffin wax also moisturises the skin resulting in healthier looking, softer skin. It can therefore be used as the mask element when carrying out a facial. The paraffin wax will hydrate and soften the skin and help to reduce fine lines.

The Paraffin Wax course has been specifically designed by Bonheur Academy as this treatment has grown in demand and more therapists are needed in order to provide this much needed therapy. The NHS offer some elements of this treatment, but has limited capacity to supply to those that would benefit from it, particularly arthritic sufferers.
