Parents in Partnership: A hands-on workshop aimed at improving parental engagement in Early Years settings. Aims: To further develop knowledge, skills and the confidence of practitioners to effectively engage with parents. To explore the potential benefits and barriers to effective parental engagement. To provide a forum to discuss previous experiences, both positive and challenging. Opening Doors (Home Visiting): A hands-on workshop to explore the benefits of home visits in Early Years, and how to implement them. Aims: To gain an understanding of the concepts and benefits of Home Visiting. To have an opportunity to share past experiences expectations and anxieties of Home Visiting. To have an increased confidence in carrying out Home Visits.
