Course Aims:
This course is aimed at candidates who are currently working as domestic installers in areas such as Kitchen Fitting, Gas Installations, Heating engineers or Plumbers, who wish to gain part p compliance approval. the course leads to a nationally recognised qualification which is on the approved list of all Part P awarding bodies

Applicable Building regulations
Electrical safety
Electrical Installation of Cables
Electrical Installation of Components
Electrical testing and Inspection
Recording Test Results
Three Phase understnding

Progression:
to city and Guilds electrical Installation Certificate

Awarding Body:
EAL

Exam:
Through a series of continious practical assessments and a multichoice examination on building regulations

Qualification:
Certificate for Domestic Electrical Installers

Level:
Level 2

Professional Appearance:
Clothing should be suitable for a practical workshop environment including appropriate footware

20 weeks at 3 hours per week
