You will have to have successfully completed the AS Level in History.
What will I study?
For the A2 qualification you will study three units, they are: Unit 4 Individual Assignment (your own choice of topic); Unit 5 Golden Age Spain, 1474-1598 and Unit 6 Oliver Cromwell and the British Republic, 1653-58.
How will I be assessed?
The assessment is a mixture of both examinations and coursework. Units 4 and 5 will be assessed through coursework and Unit 6 through an examination.
Career Opportunities & Progression
The full A-level is accepted by Higher Education for entry to HND or degree level work. Employers also welcome this qualification.
