Course Details:
This part time AAT Book-keeping course gives you an insight into the different areas of accounting. It begins with basic bookkeeping and develops the necessary practical skills to enable you to understand the different areas of the subject. It allows flexible study and the opportunity to obtain a recognised qualification relevant to the workplace. It is intended as a partial self study course with 3 hours per week tutor support. You will be expected to attend the allocated support each week to ensure successful completion of the qualification. This allows you to work at your own speed and sit the exam when your tutor feels you are ready. The exam is completed on-line and your tutor will be able to help you prepare for this. The exam will be taken in College.
Career Progression:
Students may upon successful completion progress on to one of the AAT Professional courses.
Other Information:
To be able to successfully study at home when not in college you will need the following: A computer with an internet connection, internet provider, ideally a broadband connection as loading materials using a dial up connection will be slow. A supporting workbook for the course maybe purchased upon request.
