Final award
Students compile a portfolio of evidence for assessment throughout the course using workplace evidence or AAT simulations. In June students take two exams in Maintaining Financial Records and Recording and Evaluating Costs and Revenues which are set and marked by the AAT. On successful completion of the course a NVQ3 Accounting certificate will be awarded by the AAT.

On successful completion of this course students can progress to the AAT Technician Level NVQ 4 Accounting.

Homework will be set every week, the amount of time this will take will vary depending on the students ability, previous knowledge and speed of working. On average between 3 to 5 hours should be allowed for this.
