Successful completion will allow students to progress to a final year in the Humanities on the Newry campus with the University of Ulster BA Hons modular degree in English/History or to the third year of other degree programmes at Newry Campus or other Universities and HE Institutions in NI and the UK. This course is suitable for This course is equivalent to the first two years of an honours degree programme and obtains entry to the third and final year of a range of degrees in the University of Ulster including the BA Hons modular degree taught by University of Ulster staff on the Newry campus as well as to other college Higher Education programmes. 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English) and 1 'A' Level Grade E or above.
The programme recognises a good pass in the Diploma in Adult Learning or moderate Leaving Certificate Points (including Maths and English). Other equivalencies will be considered at the discretion of the Course Director. Adult Returners with relevant experience and without academic qualifications will be considered at the discretion of the Course Director after consultation with the University of Ulster using APEL (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning).

THE ASSOCIATE BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN THE HUMANITIES
