Course Content

Fine Art Painting is a practical course offering students a diverse and thorough experience of the painting process. Through the rigorous exploration of materials and techniques we aim to equip you with a comprehensive understanding of the craft of painting whilst developing and nurturing your personal visual language and conceptual concerns through guided experimentation, critical debate and analysis of studio practice. Critical theory lectures and seminars underpin and inform practical work. The course also includes enterprise and professional practice modules to help students achieve their career ambitions. A skills based first year provides an effective starting point from which to establish your own personal visual language.
