Course Description: This is a practical, work-related course. Twelve units will be studied that focus on the sciences and developing laboratory skills. Students will learn by completing assignments and projects that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands.

The course has been developed in the field of Laboratory and Industrial Science in order to provide opportunities for part-time learners to gain a nationally recognised vocationally specific qualification.

Entry Requirements:

• Applicants will normally require either at least 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above or
• A BTEC First Certificate or Diploma in a related subject or
• An Intermediate GNVQ in a related subject or appropriate work experience.
