Formal continuous assessment is based on a range of evidence including assignments, presentations, academic posters, teaching materials, reports on and self evaluations of teaching. This evidence, requires reflection on theory and practice, is presented as a portfolio for each module. Informal formative assessment methods are also used. Activities include discussions, group and individual tasks and role play. Emphasis throughout is given to reflection on practice through a combination of self, peer and tutor assessment.
