Course Summary:
A three unit course leading to ATLS (Associate Teacher) status comprising of Planning & Enabling Learning, Principles & Practices of Assessment and an optional unit.

Candidates must already hold the City & Guilds 7303 Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) before enrolment. CTLLS totals 24 credits (including PTLLS) and can be achieved at either level 3 or 4.

Career Progression:
On successful completion learners can seek APL against part of the City & Guilds 7305 Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS) or the Foundation Degree in Teaching & Learning in the Lifelong Learning Sector.

Other Information:
CTLLS requires 30 hours of mandatory teaching practice, one to one or groups.
