Part Time Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership Level 7 (H)

This course is for you if:
You are an experienced manager with responsibilities for both functional and strategic aspects of management within an organisation. You have at least one of the following: CMI Level 5 Management and Leadership qualification (or equivalent); honours degree in a relevant subject or 3-5 years experience in a middle or senior management role.

Fee Information: The College charges a range of fees, primarily Home and Overseas. Under 19s assessed as Home, do not pay the course fees, we only charge a 20 enrolment fee which is refunded if you complete the course. Home students over 19 undertaking their First Full Level 2 (equivalent to 5 GCSE A-C) or their First Full Level 3 (equivalent to BTEC National or 2 ALevels) will be charged 20 enrolment fee plus any examination fees. For Home students over 19 receiving certain state benefits, the 20 enrolment is charged and not refundable. In all other instances, you will be charged the Home-EU or Overseas Fee.

About the course:
Only 20% of the UKs managers possess a formal management qualification. Successful completion of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Management Executive Diploma puts you firmly in that 20% bracket, with a substantial and respected management qualification from the UK's only chartered body for practising professional managers.

CMI Level 7 Strategic Management and Leadership is a post-graduate level programme intended for the senior manager who has the authority and personal inspiration to translate organisational strategy into effective operational performance. It builds on knowledge and skills acquired through the Level 5 CMI Management and Leadership qualification. Practising or aspiring senior managers undertaking this course will be able to build on their management skills and focus on the requirements of implementing their organisations strategy.

Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College (EHWLC) aims to make the learning experience as flexible and adaptable as possible to meet your needs.
You can choose to study one unit to achieve and Award, three units for a Certificate or all nine units for the Diploma qualification. A weekend residential for all learners selecting the Diploma Level is included in the course fees*. Future plans include a more 'blendedâ approach to teaching and learning with the development of distance learning, enabling you to manage your own learning and development.

The qualification consists of 5 units which all candidates have to take and 3 units selected from 6 specialist units.

Unit 5 - Managing human resources to reflect organisational objectives
Unit 7 - Developing and implementing strategic financial plans to support growth
Unit 8 - Developing and implementing strategic marketing plans
Unit 10 - Developing and monitoring the strategic positioning of the organisation
Unit 11 - Managing strategic planning and business continuity
