The aim of this two year programme is to provide students with the knowledge and practical skills to design build and maintain computer networks both LAN and WAN. Specifically in module 2 students will learn routing concepts and be introduced to the different routing protocols.
What will I learn?
This module will see students configuring and verifying router interfaces and demonstrating comprehensive RIPv1 configuration skills. Designing and implementing a classless IP addressing scheme for a network. Using advanced configuration commands with routers implementing EIGRP. Applying the basic RIPv2 configuration commands and evaluating RIPv2 classless routing updates. Identifying the characteristics of distance vector routing protocols.
How will I be assessed?
The curriculum is delivered through a combination of on-line exams and hands-on class assessments.
