This course follows on from the Beginners course and aims to provide further skills in computerised accounting. The course is aimed at those wanting to expand their knowledge of the software, and how to customise the format of management information required. Using the software to not only manage Credit Control effectively, but also the Stock Management process.
Course Content:
This course will concentrate on:
- Using the Sales Order Processing and Purchase Order Processing modules to manage stock more effectively .
- The Budgeting module for the Nominal ledger will be dealt with .
- Credit Control module
- Printing of Management Reports .
- Using the Microsoft Excel link for exporting reports .
Vocational Relevance:
This course will enable students to obtain either promotion in a current position or equip them to enable them to apply for a position as a bookkeeper.

Entry Requirements:
Completion of beginner's course or by demonstrating approriate basic skills in computerised accounting.
Entry Process:
Students will be invited to either attend an interview with the course tutor, or a telephone interview will be arranged.
Assessment:
A knowledge based summative assessment is performed to enable relevant assessment.
Progression Routes:
Students may wish to progress onto any of the College's AAT courses.
Career Options:
Students can progress onto a Junior or Senior Bookkeeper role, depending on prior experience.
