Course Overview

Qualification gained: Students that achieve are issued a British Computer Society e-type certificate. Bronze: The individual can touch-type at 20 words per minute (wpm) Silver: The individual can touch-type at 40 words per minute (wpm) Gold: The individual can touch-type at 60 words per minute (wpm)

Course Content: There are 10 fun, interactive keyboard lessons to complete. e-type is awarded in 3 grades (all of which demonstrate 98% accuracy). The exact typing speed achieved by individuals will also appear on their certificates, so you will be able to provided certification to show exactly how fast and efficient you are with your new skills. Students are allowed 3 attempts to improve their grade towards the Gold Certificate

Work Experience: There is no work experience included in this course

Course Assessment: The assessment is 5 minutes. Students are allowed 3 attempts to improve their grade towards the Gold Certificate.

Progression: This course will be a good foundation for any courses that involve using a keyboard. This new skill will aid any student that has course work to complete.

Homework: This course is 40 guided learning hours. There is no additional work attached to this course.
