ECDL Advanced will allow you to show your advanced level computing skills. You can show your employer that you are confident, competent and effective in a variety of applications.

Course Features

You can take any of the modules individually to gain the ECDL Advanced certificate in that application or, if you complete all modules, you will receive a further ECDL Expert certificate, showing that you are indeed an expert in using computers!

Career Prospects and Progression

The aim of the ECDL Advanced qualification is to develop the benchmark for computing skills from the ECDL, which is internationally successful, to the next level of competence. It is based on the ECDL model, which uses tasks, and it proves an individual's ability on a much higher level. It is modular and a certificate is awarded for succeeding in a test for each module.

Modules
Method of Assessment

Students are encouraged to complete short tests in the seven modules. Successful completion of the 4 tests will lead to the award. The On-Line option requires student to attend college to sit the final tests.

Course Length

2 Years - Conventional Class option = 3 hours a week - On-Line option = minimum of 1 assessment to be submitted per month.
