Introduction
In any workplace, it is important to work effectively to achieve personal, team and organisational goals. Understanding what makes an effective employee, and being able to demonstrate these skills, are essential aspects of employability. This BTEC WorkSkills short course will help delegates to acquire the skills and knowledge to develop their understanding of workplace behaviour and evaluating their own practice.
Description
At the end of the workshop delegates will be able to: Explain different ways in which they can behave effectively within the workplace or when representing their employer outside of the workplace Interact appropriately with a wide range of colleagues in the workplace Represent the workplace positively when dealing with customers or others outside of the workplace Apply organisational procedures appropriately Suggest areas for improvement of their own performance.
Duration
Two days or 2 consecutive Saturdays (dates available on request)
Method of Study
Workshops with a mix of taught sessions and practical tasks with a formal assessment at the end. This will include a short written assignment, interview, role play plus self reflection and evaluation.
