Course Overview This is a professional qualification for those in or wishing to work within the lectronic/telecommunications industry. This is an advanced level programme covering detailed aspects of telecommunications engineering.

Qualification gained: HND Electronics/Telecommunications

Course Content: The HND is intended as a follow on course from the HNC. Its contents will complement those covered on the HNC, either electronics or telecommunications depending on the modules you have previously studied.

Work Experience: Work experience is desirable but not essential

Course Assessment: Assessment is via written assignments of which there are 5 or 6 per subject per year. Assessment may include internal exams for some subjects.

Progression: You may progress to Degree level study in a related subject.

Homework: An additional 2-3 hrs a week is required for work outside of class.

Additional Costs: There are no additional costs.
