You must attend an assessment and interview session so that we can put you in a class with other students of similar ability, working towards a qualification at the right level for you. Our 'Skills for Life' English language courses, both full-time and part-time, are designed for adult students whose first language is not English. They can help you to prepare for everyday life, employment, and vocational or higher education courses.

All of our courses lead to nationally recognised qualifications.
Course Details:
You will join one of five learning levels, Beginners to Advanced. Many students change level mid-year.
Part-time courses
It is recommended that students receive five hours tuition per week and attend college for two mornings or two evenings per week.
Two mornings (various) 9.30am - 12.00pm
Two evenings (Monday and Thursday) 6.30pm - 9.00pm
The courses are organised in terms:
7th September 2009 - 11th December 2009
4th January 2010 - 2nd April 2010
19th April 2010 - 9th July 2010
Full-time coursesGive you fifteen hours tuition per week. You will attend college on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings and also in the afternoon on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Mornings on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9.30am - 12.00pm
Friday morning 9.30am - 12.30pm
Afternoons 1.00pm - 2.30pm
The courses are organised in blocks of ten weeks.
Block 1: 21st September 2009 until 4th December 2009
Block 2: Monday 11th January 2010 until 22nd March inclusive
Block 3: Monday 19th April until 28th June 2009

Full Time Fees
Fees for three terms: EU 1,338.00, non EU 4,900.00
All students pay an affiliation fee of 25.00 and examination fees of 27 - 50.00.
Course Books may cost 15.00 - 20.00
Students receiving benefits may get help with their fees
