This intensive part time course is about providing eyelash and eyebrow treatments to clients.

Course Content:

• Contra-indications
• Eyebrow shaping
• Eyebrow tinting
• Eyelash perming
• Eyelash tinting
• Homecare
• Personal appearance, health and hygiene
• Relevant anatomy and physiology
• Underpinning knowledge

Kit/Uniform:
Kit costs are in the region of 130. A uniform is compulsory for this course in accordance with Industry Codes of Practice. The College dress code for this course is a white tunic or dress, white trousers or skirt and flat enclosed black or white shoes. Information on suppliers will be sent out with joining instructions.

Entry Requirements:
Applicants should be at a satisfactory level for literacy and numeracy.

Entry Process:
Acceptance on the course will be determined by telephone interview.

Assessment:
Learners will undertake written papers and practical assessments during the course. A final portfolio of work, based around a given workbook will need to be submitted for proof of competence.

Progression Routes:
Progression to other NVQ units of level 2 Beauty Therapy.
