Fast Track course in IT part 2, OCR Level 1 Certificate for IT Users (New CLAiT)Course Outline
This 1-year part-time course combines three stand alone qualifications giving you the opportunity to achieve these in 1-year. You will have to successfully complete each course in turn to be able to progress onto the next, the courses are: First Steps in Information Technology (OCR), OCR Level 1 Certificate for IT Users (New CLAiT) and European Computer Driving License (ECDL) - Essentials (Level 1). The OCR Level 1 Certificate for IT Users (New CLAiT) is a qualification designed to recognise the skills, knowledge and understanding of IT users everywhere, whether in employment, education or training.

Entry requirements
Prior to starting this course you would have had to successfully completed the First Steps in Information Technology (OCR) Qualification, you also require a good basic knowledge of Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Database.

What will I study?
New CLAiT (Level 1 Certificate): mandatory unit: File Management & e-Document Production; Creating Spreadsheets & Graphs and Database Manipulation.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through an OCR-set assignment.

Career Opportunities & Progression
