This course is designed principally for those who are or intend to be food handlers within the catering and hospitality industry. A food handler is any one who handles food, whether packaged or open.
Course Features
Delivered in one day with the assessment being completed at the end of the day.
Cost includes Morning coffee and lunch.
Provides essential and up to date food safety knowledge.
Usually delivered at college but if specific conditions are met provision can be made at other locations.
Career Prospects and Progression
Completion can improve employment prospects for those wishing to enter the hospitality and catering industry and/or allow for progression on to the intermediate certificate in food hygiene.

Method of Assessment
Assessment is via a 45 minutes multiple choice question paper composed of 30 questions with 20 correct answers needed to pass.
