What will I study?
The course will cover human physiological systems, in health and disease; Man?s impact on the environment; genetic variation
How will I be assessed?
There will be a written examination of 2hr (80% of the assessment) and coursework, (20% of the assessment). The examination is available with a higher and foundation tier. Your tutor will guide you as to, which is the most appropriate for you.
Career Opportunities & Progression
This qualification contributes a science to your GCSE portfolio and is an ideal basis from which to study AS/A2 Human Biology or to follow a training programme in a health or health related profession.
