Course Details

Study areas include: Human Biology (Unit B1a) Evolution and the Environment (Unit B1b) Products from Rocks (Unit C1a) Oils, Earth and Atmosphere (Unit C1b) Energy and Electricity (Unit P1a) Radiation and the Universe (Unit P1b)

Qualifications required:
This is a course which compresses what would normally be a 2 year programme into 1 year. It is intended that most students choosing the course will achieve a grade C or better. It is particularly suited to students who have recently studied similar courses and who wish to improve their grades. Students who have left school recently are expected to have achieved a grade E or D if they are to be accepted onto the course. However it may be possible for students without a recent background in science to reach the required standard.
