This course of study is aimed at electrical operatives with existing electrical knowledge and experience. To be eligible to sit this exam, candidates must have adequate knowledge of electrical systems, procedures and basic electrical science. There are two versions of this course designed to meet the needs of learners and maintain the requirements of the City and Guilds, based on learners previous qualifications and experience. The assessment and accreditation outcome are identical.
Option 1. FULL VERSION: 30 Guided Learning Hours [GLH]
This course is suitable for those with limited knowledge of electrical science and principles and experience of Inspection and Testing procedures
4 days (08:30 17:00), or ten evenings (18:00 21:00)
Option 2. FAST TRACK VERSION: 15 Guided Learning Hours [GLH]
This course is suitable for those with sound knowledge of electrical science and principles and previous experience of Inspection and Testing procedures. Both courses may be attended over:
2 days (08:30 17:00), or five evenings (18:00 21:00)
Course Summary:
This course of study is aimed at practising electrical operatives with existing electrical experience and qualifications who are responsible for maintaining and carrying out practical inspection and testing of electrical equipment. equipment.
