The acquisition of nationally recognised qualifications can lead to enhanced career prospects. Progression is possible to a range of higher level and professional qualifications depending on the individual's area of expertise. Examples may include NVQ Level 4 Learning and Development, Certificate /Post-Graduate Certificate in Education, Certificate/Diploma in Management and specific Human Resource Management qualifications.

Method of Assessment

Assessment is based on observation, evidence collected by candidates at their workplace, witness testimonials and professional discussion, all presented in a portfolio of evidence.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must be in a situation which allows the candidate to design, evaluate and improve learning programmes, together with identifying individual and/or organisational learning needs. The candidate may be in a role of assessing candidates of, and contributing to internal quality assurance of, accredited competence-based qualifications.
