Course Description
This course enables you to take your first steps to developing the essential IT skills for the workplace.
Course content:
Starting work in the IT industry
Working in the IT industry
Developing IT skills.
To develop the personal skills you need for work and learning you will study two of these units:
Personal effectiveness
Social responsibility
Financial management.
You will study three of the following units:
PC systems
Using the internet
IT applications
Digital devices.
You will also work to gain an Adult Literacy qualification at either Level 1 or level 2.
Studies in Key Skills in Communication, ICT and Application of Number are also an essential part of this programme.
