Whilst evidence generated in the work place is required for the completion of the NVQ, guidance and NVQ development is part of the electrical installation level 3 training at the college. The NVQ runs parallel to the City & Guilds 2330 Electrotechnical Technology.

- Ensure safe electrical site working - Prepare to install electrical wiring systems, enclosures and equipment - Install electrical wiring systems, enclosures and equipment - Connect wiring systems and equipment using safe and approved methods - Inspect, test and commission an electrical installation - Diagnose and correct electrical faults - Provide technical and functional information to relevant people - Health and Safety
