These courses are part-time courses which allow students to train, assess and gain skills while working within the industry. The NVQ Game-keeping course includes maintenance of game, vermin management and trespassing.
The NVQ Forestry and Countryside Management courses include modules in tree planting, management following planting, using machinery, drainage, using herbicide and using a chainsaw.

What will I study?
Gamekeeping qualifications allow assistant gamekeepers to become accredited in a wide variety of areas, including the maintenance of game and the prevention of trespass and poaching. A range of optional units will be available.
