Course Description: The training will develop a full range of knowledge and bricklaying techniques required to national standards for a Level 2 qualification. It will equip students with the necessary skill levels required to produce work related evidence from the work place in order to achieve this qualification.

Modules include: Erect and Set out Masonry Structures, Lay Domestic Drainage, Place & Finish Non-Specialist Concrete, Plaster & Render Surfaces and Maintain Slate & Tile Roofing.

Entry Requirements: Entrants must be working within the Construction Industry and actively involved in brick and block laying.

Progression/Career Opportunities: On completion of the course, students may look to progress onto the NVQ Level 3 or BTEC National Certificate courses.
