Who is this course for?

This course is designed to provide you with the skills and in-depth knowledge related to practical and theoretical aspects of the Beauty Industry. This course contains substantial amounts of beauty related science, providing the technical knowledge that you need to succeed in the industry.

The following subjects may be covered: Business Management; Mechanical and Electrical treatments for the face and body; Body Massage; Electrical Epilation; Tanning Treatments; Indian Head Massage; Aromatherapy. You may be assessed through practical demonstration, oral questioning, assignment/project work or on-line assessment. You will be required to carry out beauty treatments in a realistic working environment.

Students will also be required to promote all salon services and to bring in their own clients for assessment. Clients are charged a nominal amount for salon treatments. This course is a must if you want to develop your career in the beauty industry - strongly recommended as a follow -on course from the Level 2 Beauty Therapy course.
