This course is designed for enthusiastic gardeners of all ages and allows you to gain a qualification which has been nationally recognised for more than 80 years, together with the Practical Certificate in Gardening. The programme of five terms over two years will be a blend of demonstration, theory and practicals to maintain a varied and interesting programme throughout. Tested by examinations and practical assessments.
What qualifications will I need?
Minimum age 16 years. Interest and enthusiasm. Tetanus protection is recommended.
Agreement to sit the final examinations is a requirement at enrolment.

- Fruit and vegetable growing

What materials are required?
Warm waterproof clothing for practical lessons. Steel toe'capped boots.

How will I be assessed?
Practical task units and short theory tests are achieved throughout the course which culminates in the externally set RHS Certificate.
