Career Prospects and Progression
The majority of students following these courses are studying for pleasure or for holiday purposes in Spain. However, these language units would certainly enhance a student`s job prospects and provide a good basis for further study at GCSE or AS levels if desired.
Modules
12 units in all are studied. On average four units per year. They are: Personal information, home and daily routine, food and dining, finding accommodation, tourist information, leisure, holidays, world of work, travel, dealing with money, shops and services and health matters.
Method of Assessment
Portfolios and tapes to show evidence of listening, speaking, reading and writing skills are presented for moderation in July. There is no formal examination.
