This one day intensive course is designed for people wishing to add hot stone therapy to their massage skills. Stone therapy is based on an ancient healing art, using deep penetrating heat to relax muscles and is a useful addition to any holistic therapy. The course involves some theory input and learners will be required to give and receive a treatment.

West Kent College Certificate

Kit/Uniform:
A uniform is compulsory for this course in accordance with Industry Codes of Practice. The College dress code for this course is a white tunic, navy trousers and flat enclosed black or white shoes. As this is such a short course, alternative salon uniform may be worn at the discretion of the course tutor.

Entry Requirements:
Applicants must possess:

• A good standard of general education
• A previous qualification in Anatomy and Physiology
• A previous qualification in Body Massage

Entry Process:
Acceptance on the course will be determined by telephone interview.

Assessment:
Learners will be assessed by practical observation.
