Diploma in Education and Training £1155

What I would highlight: It is a flexible course, value for money is reasonable, delivery-method is also accessible and easy to understand. I am working around my job and other commitments.
What could be improved: I have to provide a video recording of my teaching as evidence. But the types of learners I have are unemployed adults and they feel uncomfortable in video recording so I can't. Even they don't like audio recording.

What I would highlight: Some of the course questions were extremely open to different interpretations, especially unit 1 3.2 the teacher/professional boundaries. It took three attempts to get this question right. Mr Cook was very supportive and did direct me to the correct answer to this.
What could be improved: I did initially have problems finding the criteria for the units in the Moodle’s website. This was mainly due to me looking on the wrong page for the information and not scrolling down through all the information on the level three site page. This was resolved by Mr Cook emailing me a link.

What I would highlight: This company uses a moodle which has lots of resources for students. Assignments are uploaded via the moodle and teaching observations are done by video. Assignments and observations are marked in the same week and the feedback was always constructive. It was excellent value for money and I paid on a monthly basis. You are also sent your awarding body and registration details pretty quickly. If I had any questions the Tutor would generally answer them the same day via the chat on the moodle. Restored my faith in online training.
What could be improved: I had very limited experience of using a moodle and found it quiet difficult at first and I did struggle with uploading videos, in the end I sent an SD card through the post. Advice on the moodle could expand on options of how to send large videos. I had limited experience on studying a level 4 qualification and had to do a lot of research into academic writing - I missed having a tutor and a classroom to go to. However, I learnt a lot and got there eventually!

What I would highlight: In the past, I studied with another online training provider nd it really let me down. That is why I was afraid that the same would happen again, but the first time that I spoke with Paul, he guaranteed that he would help me get back on track and that I would obtain my teaching qualification. Highly recommended!
What could be improved: Nothing bad. I received all the help I needed.

What I would highlight: Paul Cook, thank you for your invaluable mentoring these past months. I’ve had fun getting to know you better, and I’ve learned so much from talking with you and seeing how you work. You are amazing at what you do! I’m grateful to have had the chance to work with you so closely.
What could be improved: I struggled at first with it being online and not being able to talk to someone, but then I met Paul.
