Course programme
The D1 vocational licence driver training course normally takes place over three/four consecutive days including the Driving Standards Agency test on the final day.
Our training day starts at 8.30 and finishes at 16.00 with a one-to-one instructor-trainee ratio. This will provide the instructor with enough time each day to fully instruct the driver on the different test routes and test exercises. Not all companies are the same, when comparing find out how many hours training you will recieve and if you will be sharing the course with another driver.
Note: Drivers that passed their car driving test before 1997 can drive a minibus but not for hire or reward (employed as a driver) unless they gain pass the D1 driving test. An individual who passed a car test after 1997 can't drive a minibus without gaining D1 entitlement.
