This course is designed for those who are interested in a career in travel or wish to study travel & tourism at university.
What qualifications or experience do I need ?Applicants will be required to have at least one of the following qualifications: 4 GCSE's "C" including English Language and Maths and a suitable Academic Reference or Level 2 Diploma grade MERIT in a relevant subject and GCSE "C" grades in English Language and Maths and a suitable Academic Reference.
What will I study ?This course will cover the following topics: * The Travel and Tourism Industry * The Business of Travel and Tourism * Marketing Travel and Tourism Products * Tourist Destinations * Customer Service * Working in the Travel and Tourism Industry
How will I be assessed ?Assessment will be through: * continual assessment by assignment * two modules externally assessed
