A pedicure professional is someone who deals with treating the feet both aesthetically and, in certain cases, curative. The pedicure is a cosmetic treatment of the feet and toenails, analogous to the manicure. Pedicure is performed for cosmetic and therapeutic purposes. They are popular all over the world. The pedicure includes the care not only of the toenails; dead skin cells are removed from the soles of the feet using a rough stone (often a pumice stone). Skin care is often provided up to the knee, including granular exfoliation, hydration, and massage. There are several types of pedicures. Some of the more common types are as follows: regular pedicure, dry or waterless pedicure, paraffin pedicure, stone pedicure, and French pedicure. Most places use a pumice stone or PedEgg-type device to shave calluses. If corns are shaved too aggressively and the skin is broken, this can become a portal for bacteria or fungi.
