Course Content

Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) Feeding. Essential nutrition prevents a myriad of problems. The aim of this course is to develop knowledge and understanding of various interventions available to ensure optimum nutrition is achieved. We will discuss/ demonstrate current devises available, tube placement and explore nursing/care practice in relation to service user care.

This course includes the Administration of Medications via PEG. Practical session includes the set up and operation of PEG pumps.

  • Group Bookings can also be accommodated at relatively short notice - upon request.
