Why choose this course? This integrated master degree is for those who have a strong interest in mechanical engineering and a clear desire to develop their knowledge and skills in automotive engineering at master level. It is a fully accredited engineering master that has been designed for the automotive industry (regional and national) in response to the shortfall of mechanical engineers. Automotive engineering is a growing sector, many reports shows that up to 28,000 new jobs will have to be fulfilled by 2020. 95% of our graduates are in a professional or managerial job within six months after the course (Unistats 16). The course explores fully the engineering, design, analysis and development of modern cars using various race cars as support for teaching. It also put emphasis on learning transferable skills, which are applicable to many other industries. It also gives you an opportunity to learn more during the industrial placement that you will have to conduct.
