Course description For anyone looking to develop their creative, artistic and professional acting skills further, this BTEC Extended Diploma at Level 3 is an ideal course to deepen your knowledge and push your practical performance abilities to the best they can be. You'll learn all about a variety of performance skills and styles, focusing on those that are current and relevant to the industry. This could cover everything from Contemporary Performance and Acting for TV & Film, to the techniques taught by influential practitioners like Strasberg and Brecht. You will also take a closer look at playwrights or a key time in history that had an impact upon the development of performing arts. All the movement, vocal, and theoretical skills you learn are geared towards preparing you for drama school, a higher level degree or a professional audition!

3. Entry requirements We'd like you to have at least 5 GCSEs at grade A* - C in order to enrol on this course, including one in either English or Maths. You should also be able to learn lines and ideally have some practical experience. We'll invite all applicants down to visit us for a practical audition and an informal interview.
