About this course
A minimum of 4 GCSEs at C or above including English and preferably Maths or equivalent OR
A BTEC First Diploma in Performing Arts with a satisfactory reference and equivalent English and preferably
Maths OR
A relevant equivalent Level 2 qualification with equivalent English and preferably Maths.

As well as providing analytical and technical skills and a broader understanding of the Performing Arts through participation and theory, students will also have the opportunity to participate in visiting practitioner's workshops, performances and theatre trips.
Assessment Tutors, assess all units internally with external verification by the awarding body, to ensure that effective learning of the content of each unit has taken place. Candidates will be expected to submit a portfolio of work to level three standards. Progression This course will prepare you for higher-level study such as the Foundation Degree in Performing Arts. The skills you will gain on this course are transferable to a range of industries and careers and will lead to work as a technician, administrator or performer.
