In addition, Key Skills in Communication/ICT and Numeracy will be taken to support the production of the National Diploma in Performing Arts course work and provides the skills required by employers and HE colleges/universities.

As well as providing analytical and technical skills and a broader understanding of the Performing Arts through participation and theory, students will also have the opportunity to participate in visiting practitioner's workshops, performances and theatre trips.

Assessment Tutors, assess all units internally with external verification by the awarding body, to ensure that effective learning of the content of each unit has taken place. Candidates will be expected to submit a portfolio of work to level three standards. Progression This course will prepare you for higher-level study such as the Foundation Degree in Performing Arts. The skills you will gain on this course are transferable to a range of industries and careers and will lead to work as a technician, administrator or performer.
