There are no formal entry requirements, but a reasonable standard of English and maths is expected, plus the enthusiasm and commitment to succeed. All candidates will be interviewed to assess their eligibility for the course.

The students will be expected to wear suitable clothing, which will consist of Phoenix Theatre T-Shirt (ordered through the department), black joggin pants / jazz....

Who The Course is for
This course is for anyone who wishes to gain a vocational qualification in Performing Arts. It is ideal if you are straight from school or have been out of education for a while and is particularly suitable if you don†t have many qualifications but want to progress your career.

Course Content
On this course, you will study the Level 1 Diploma in Performing Arts plus Functional Skills in Communication and Numeracy (at the appropriate level).
The course is made up of core units that everyone takes and specialist units. The specialists units enable you to study a particular area in more depth.
