History
It began in 1972, when the DISC model came on to the U.S. Our founder, Friedbert Gay, recognised the potential of the model and introduced DISC in Germany in 1990. Today the scientific perssolog model, based on the original DISC model, forms the core of our operations. The persolog Personality Factor Model is a success story: it was brought onto the German market in 1990. After five years, 600 trainers and personnel managers had already been certified to use the model, at that time simply referred to as a DISC model. This breakthrough caused Friedbert Gay to found DISC Training GmbH in 2000. In 2004 persolog GmbH was founded . With the persolog brand we will meet the requirements of our increasingly international orientation, because our goal is to offer fully integrated personality development world-wide. As part of this, persolog GB Ltd started in 2007, to supply the persolog instruments to companies in Britain and to English-speakers across Europe.
