What's it all about?:
Have you recently taken over a retail premises, a wine bar or a pub? Or are looking to do so shortly? You will need a personal licence to sell alcohol and we can tell you all you need to know about getting one. Our course will give you the framework of law that surrounds your occupation and instil in you the sense of responsibility the public expect as you manage your premises. This government-approved and certified course is one full day.

Entry Requirements:
There are no specific entry requirements. However, you will be invited to attend an informal interview to assess your suitability for the course.

Duration: One day

Course Overview
What does the course involve?:

Under the Licensing Act 2003 anyone authorising the retail sale of alcohol has to hold a personal licence. Successful completion of this course fulfils the criteria set by the Government and meets the statutory requirements laid down for personal licence holders.

When can I study?:
Thursdays, 9.00am - 6.00pm

Are there any exams?:
You will need to complete and pass a nationally recognised test at the end of the course.
