The Programme
This course offers learners personalised programmes of learning with progression pathways to suit individual need.
The Programme Content
Students will work towards an entry /level 1 qualification in their chosen pathway.
They will be able to choose to study in vocational areas including:
catering, hair & beauty, retail, art & media, construction, personal development, childcare, sport.
Additional life skills training units in independent living skills including:travel training, shopping and cooking, healthy eating, community access.
Embedded within all teaching sessions students are skills training in ICT, literacy and numeracy.
Work skills training through taking part in the Enterprise programme where students gain experience in setting up and managing a business running the college shop. Students will also have the opportunity to take part in a work experience placement.

Progression / Careers
Progression to other supported learning courses: PACE level 1 or vocational areas.
