This course is the first step to gaining your spraying qualification and must be completed successfully before any other modules can be undertaken  

You will be taught the foundation skills needed to start your journey 

What modules are covered?

Course content consists of: current legislation, personal hygiene, preparing pesticides for use, transport and storage of pesticides, disposal techniques, record keeping, interpreting product labels and literature, selecting and using protective clothing, dealing with contamination and environmental safety.

What qualifications will I get?

PA1 is a prerequisite to progress onto other courses.

How will I be assessed?

Is an online multi choice test and is held at the college. Test dates will be issued during your training day. The Foundation Module FEPA PA1 must be passed prior to taking any other FEPA test. Further FEPA training can however be undertaken prior to testing.
