Topics covered include preventing illness, wounds and infection, parasites, bleeding, shock, bone and joint injuries, eye and ear injuries, artificial respiration and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Hands-on activities with our animals include bandaging and giving medication. Participants will discuss which injuries can be safely treated at home and learn how to assemble a pet first aid kit.
